Point Reyes Excursion

My friend Donna arranged an picnic at Hogg Island Oyster Company near Point Reyes. About a dozen of us trekked up the coast and slurpped up some oysters, both BBQ and raw. I learned to shuck oysters, which will come in handy when I return.

After the picnic, we went to Point Reyes National Seashore, where winds were gusting in excess of 40mph. Much to our dismay, the lighthouse was closed.

Recent Photography

Have been on a couple of photography expeditions here locally in the SF Bay area. One was to the Rose Garden in San Jose. The other was San Franciso City Hall and the new Asian Art Museum up in the city. Rose Garden photos were not remarkable, as it was too bright out (can you say Photoshop?). SF City Hall has some pretty impressice architecture. The museum photos would have been better had I remembered to twiddle with my camera's ISO settings so the shutter speeds were faster. And it would have been good if I had a tripod. Oh well, can't have everything. More photo expeditions to follow, so you can expect to see some more pics as soon as I get an acceptable batch.

Changes to the odeido website

So most of the look and feel of the website has been updated.
I feel like I am using 1997 web techniques with tables and almost used frames for the website, but decided against it.

The Europe pages are slowly being updated.
I now have respect for web authors who can just crank this stuff out.
